Cancellation & Refund Policy
This is the exact policy the booking system applies automatically for cancellations. The wording here is kept identical to the logic in the code (src/lib/cancellation-policy.ts), so what you read here is what happens when you cancel.
| Time Before Game | Cancellation | Reschedule |
|---|---|---|
| 48+ hours | 100% refund | Free |
| 24–48 hours | 50% refund | ₹150 fee + GST |
| Under 24 hours | No refund | ₹500 fee + GST |
| No-show | No refund | Not available |
| Late arrival | No refund | Not available |
| Eversion Games cancels | 100% refund, or free reschedule | Yes |
| Emergency / force majeure | Case-by-case | Rescheduling preferred over a refund |
Cancel or reschedule from Account · My Bookings. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through PayU and can take several business days to appear. The time remaining is always measured against your original session time, using our servers’ clock.
Rescheduling
- A booking may be rescheduled once only. After that it is fixed, and any further change is at the venue’s discretion.
- Once a booking has been rescheduled, it is no longer eligible for any refund if you later cancel it, whatever the notice given. Rescheduling further into the future does not restore refund eligibility.
- Reschedule fees are shown before you confirm, and GST at 18% is added on top of the fee amounts in the table above.
- Your new time is held only briefly while the fee is paid. If that payment is not completed, your original booking stays exactly as it was and nothing is charged.
- You can only move to a session time that is actually available at that moment.
A no-show (not arriving for a confirmed, paid booking) is treated the same as a cancellation inside the “under 24 hours” window: no refund. The same applies to arriving late enough that the session cannot be run in full.
The company may authorise an exception to this policy on a case-by-case basis; this is logged and is not something staff can do on their own.
